Important Announcement: Hey Guys! SiahLegend here back with a new book review and an update for anyone reading. People are asking what my upload schedule is and my answer is 2-4 books a month. I'll try to stick with 3 but 2 is the least. And that's my announcement on with the book review!

This book was absolutely amazing and I can't believe it was actually as good as it was. I found this book in my science teacher's library (yeah science teacher) and I thought the cover was cool kind of like a fish out of water ordeal. The book starts off with 11 year old Melody and she's paralyzed. She also can't talk which gets weirder the more you think about it. Imagine all of your thoughts and how they would never be released. Like a dam flooding and flooding in thoughts but never actually breaking. Everybody thinks Melody is "mentally challenged" so she is put in classes with special kids. She doesn't belong there (as you probably guessed) but she learns to cope with it through her tantrums. Her tantrums occur when nobody can understand her and she becomes frustrated. But this all changes when Melody gets a computer wheelchair. With it she is able to program hundreds of thousands of words and phrases into this computer to actually talk to people. But how will people react to this sudden change? This is for you to find out.

The characters in this book are surprisingly well-developed. I really felt like I could understand the characters and their motives (like Wonder). They all had their reasons for doing what they were doing. With characters like this you can look to forward to seeing them. You can put them in any situation and the story would be equally interesting. That's what great characters like Melody do. They make you understand that no matter what when their backs are against the wall you push through.
